Justin Lees, CEng, BEng (Hons), FCIBSE
With over 25 years’ experience in building services consultancy, Justin is a Board Director with responsibility for our Plymouth office.
Graduating from Bath University with an Honours degree in 1995, he gained extensive knowledge and broad experience of sustainable-thinking, working-practices and engineering-solutions having worked across Europe and New Zealand before joining Hulley & Kirkwood in 2008.
Since establishing the Plymouth office he has built a strong team of experienced engineers with a breadth and depth of sector expertise supporting Hulley & Kirkwood as a leading M&E consultancy in the region.
Justin also has a specialism in student accommodation and has developed a broad spectrum of associated clients including Universities as well as national and regional developers.

Not every sustainable solution suits every project or client. I firmly believe the starting point of any discussion on sustainability has to be to understand the ethos of the client and how they operate. Sustainable solutions should align to the way a client operates so that the solutions proposed harmonise, resulting in greater engagement and a smoother transition to a Zero Carbon future.
